I’m very pleased to see these curvy fashion mannequins, which have popped up in a Swedish clothing shop.
Bravo! Let’s hope we start to see mannequins like this in the UK soon.
So here is the result of day two! Although this tattoo session was so much more painful than the first day (mainly because of the intense block of colour work rather than outlining), I am so pleased with the results. The colours, textures and detail on the peacock is just beautiful. In fact, this tattoo so far is even better than I thought it would be.
I got my new tattoo started on Thursday. I booked the appointment nearly a year ago, so I’ve been really looking forward to it. My tattooist is Brighton-based James Robinson who owns Gilded Cage Tattoo Studio in Kemp Town. I’ve known James for almost 10 years (wow — 10 years! I feel old) as a good friend went to uni with him. He also did my first tattoo so not only do I know him quite well, but I trust him. And love his style. So James was the natural choice.
