My boyfriend and I often discuss this because I always pull out men’s clothes that I like which he cringes at. If I had any influence on what he could wear, I’d pick some cute fitted shirts (which admittedly, he already wears) but also some chunky knit cardigans or jumpers and stuff with elbow or shoulder patches! Basically when it comes to men’s fashion, my taste is very influenced by trends.

His is not – and that’s fine, I’m not criticising what he wears just as I wouldn’t expect him to criticise what I wear, but he seems happiest when he’s in a pair of baggy jeans and a ripped band t-shirt.
So I know that he would never really let me choose his clothes for him because he hates my taste.
When it comes to my clothing, it seems he’d pretty much pick similar things out for me to wear as the clothes I pick. The only difference being he wouldn’t choose ‘granny clothes’ for me to wear, which he’s been known to call my choices before – in fact I think it was more along the lines of “why have you raided a granny’s closet?”.
Would your partner let you dress them? And would you or do you dress them?
