Tattoo take two

So here is the result of day two! Although this tattoo session was so much more painful than the first day (mainly because of the intense block of colour work rather than outlining), I am so pleased with the results. The colours, textures and detail on the peacock is just beautiful. In fact, this tattoo so far is even better than I thought it would be.

It seems to be healing well after a couple of days of Bepanthen and cling filming. I’ve now switched to a light, fragrance-free moisturiser and although it’s flaky in places, I haven’t lost any colour.

I have my third tattoo session next week and as they’re so close (normally we’ve been aiming for a two week gap but I got a cancellation so wanted to snap it up) we’ll be focusing on other areas as not to aggravate the healing area. We’ll be adding some lace to the top and then extending the peacock’s tail down below my elbow.

Stay tuned!

  1. Wow, it already looks beautiful! Was worth the long wait. I only have one tattoo but more may follow :)

  2. Wow, you got so much done at once! It’s stunning.
